Game Credits

Many people have contributed their time to making this game a reality and we are using this space to give them their due credit, for without everyone's help Memorium would not be where it is today. We also use this page to document player contributions to the game and see that they get their due for their hard work and striving to make the world of Memorium a richer place to play.

The game is the brainchild of Enzu, Occasa, Orien and Hebat who began working on it in April 2001. The four of us do have to give credit where credit is due and give an extra special thanks to our friend Brian, who is no longer with us in the online world. He has provided us with a lot of his creativity as well as a good deal of humor and Memorium wouldn't be what it is today without his input and help.

We would also like to give a big thanks to all our players who have come to Memorium to join us in our own little world. Each one has contributed in their own way and we wouldn't be where we are now without them.

The following are thanks to players who have added to the game in one way or another and a way to recognize them for their work, and most importantly, their creativity.

Armand - For putting together and running the Avanne Tournament of Lilies. (August 2002)

Nicolas - For conceiving of and organizing the theft of the Orienite relic plot in Castana. (August 2002)

A Note to Researchers and Historians

Memorium Tempestatis is purely a fantasy world that has been inspired by real history. Files on Memorium make no claims to be factual to events in our real Earth history. The news files on the game are factual to the world in the game itself. Please do not use any of our news files in any kind of factual research project. Additionally, we know that things we have created here are not exact as to what they would have been in real life during the time period we are borrowing from. This game is meant to be an exercise in creativity, to build a fantasy world that is inspired by history. This is not a game to allow players to experience true history. Frankly, the research alone to make that possible would keep us from ever opening the game and we aren't medieval scholars, nor do we pretend to be. Please do not ask that we change a style of clothing or a type of food because it doesn't fit with eleventh or twelfth century history. We are aware it doesn't match exactly and we like it that way.
